The Ireland-Alberta Trade Mission is the first structured trade mission from Ireland into Alberta, organised by the Ireland-Alberta Trade Association in partnership with the Government of Alberta and Calgary Economic Development. Over four days in Calgary, a curated delegation of senior Irish business leaders is engaging with Alberta's government, sector leaders, and business community — exploring the opportunities that exist between two economies built on energy, technology, and professional services.
Ireland and Alberta are a natural fit. Both economies share a strong tradition in energy, infrastructure, technology, and professional services — and a culture of doing business built on trust. With Ireland's ratification of CETA this summer, Irish companies gain preferential access to Canadian markets, and the conditions for a lasting and productive trade relationship have never been stronger.
This reception is an opportunity to meet the delegation, welcome them to Alberta, and build the connections that will drive opportunity across this trade corridor.
