Ireland-Alberta Mission Welcome Reception

The Ireland-Alberta Trade Mission is the first structured trade mission from Ireland into Alberta, organised by the Ireland-Alberta Trade Association in partnership with the Government of Alberta and Calgary Economic Development. Over four days in Calgary, a curated delegation of senior Irish business leaders is engaging with Alberta's government, sector leaders, and business community — exploring the opportunities that exist between two economies.

Ireland and Alberta are a natural fit. Both economies share a strong tradition in energy, infrastructure, technology, and professional services — and a culture of doing business built on trust. With Ireland's ratification of CETA this summer, Irish companies gain preferential access to Canadian markets, and the conditions for a lasting and productive trade relationship have never been stronger.
